Album Notes & Community Reviews

Blending deep house grooves with UK bass, this breakout single introduced the world to the soaring vocals of a then-unknown Sam Smith. The track's infectious pop-R&B crossover appeal helped catalyze a massive revival of 1990s house music aesthetics in mainstream popular music. It achieved multi-platinum status and remains a defining dance track of the decade.
