Album Notes & Community Reviews
This dramatic, orchestral cover of the 1964 Simon & Garfunkel classic unexpectedly transformed the heavy metal band into mainstream crossover stars. Relying on piano, sweeping strings, and David Draiman's booming, operatic baritone, the track completely reimagines the original folk song as a colossal gothic anthem. The performance gained widespread viral traction, earning praise from Paul Simon himself.
