Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the lead single for his third studio album 'Nothing Was the Same', this track highlights Drake's reflective climb to hip-hop dominance. Produced by Mike Zombie, the sparse, piano-driven trap beat allows the autobiographical, highly quotable lyrics to take center stage. The track became a ubiquitous motivational anthem and a cultural catchphrase throughout the 2010s.
