Dreams

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written by Stevie Nicks during a period of immense interpersonal turmoil within the band, this track features a sparse, two-chord vamp and a driving, locked-in rhythm section. The song captured the emotional exhaustion of her breakup with Lindsey Buckingham, contrasting deeply with his own bitter contributions to the 'Rumours' sessions. It stands as the group's only single to ever reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
