Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following up their modern classic collaborative album, the rapper and producer reunited to deliver this impossibly smooth, luxurious single. Madlib flips an obscure Walt Barr soul sample into a hypnotic, looping dreamscape, over which Gibbs delivers razor-sharp, technically flawless street narratives. The track highlighted the duo's unmatched chemistry, contrasting brutal realities with incredibly pristine, jazz-oriented production.
