Mask Off

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by an inescapable flute sample from Tommy Butler's 'Prison Song', this track became one of the most culturally dominant rap anthems of its era. Produced by Metro Boomin, the hypnotic beat pairs with raw lyrics reflecting on drug addiction and the artist's rise from poverty. The track's massive success helped solidify the commercial dominance of Atlanta trap music.
