Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut single that introduced Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's virtual animated band to the world. The song's sluggish, melancholic beat was famously constructed from the 'Rock 1' preset on a Suzuki Omnichord synthesizer. Featuring a ghostly, iconic rap verse provided by Del the Funky Homosapien, the track flawlessly merged underground hip-hop with alternative rock, securing massive global chart success.
