Gorillaz is a pioneering virtual band created in 1998 by musician *Damon Albarn* and artist *Jamie Hewlett*. Comprising four animated members—2D, *Murdoc Niccals*, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs—the project blends hip-hop, electronic, pop, and rock into a uniquely collaborative and genre-defying sound. Known for their immersive visual world and high-profile guest features, the band exploded into the mainstream with their self-titled debut and the world-renowned "Demon Days".
