Album Notes & Community Reviews

Centering heavily on bouncy, electro-disco synthesizers and a propulsive dance-pop rhythm, the track features a notoriously shambolic, charismatic guest vocal from Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder. The song represents the virtual band's most direct foray into pure club music, successfully bridging Madchester nostalgia with mid-2000s electro-house aesthetics. It became Gorillaz's first and only number-one single in the United Kingdom.
