Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Album Notes & Community Reviews

A mid-tempo, acoustic-driven alternative rock ballad that acts as the sombre, introspective hangover to its high-energy predecessor on the album. Featuring heavily tremolo-effected guitars, it became one of the defining commercial rock singles of the decade, winning the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. It perfectly captured the feeling of millennial alienation and urban isolation.
