Fade Away

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pushing further into straightforward 2000s trance aesthetics, this emotional track heavily relies on A.G. Cook's driving, euphoric synthesizer production. The singer's hyper-processed, brittle vocals detail the agonizingly slow dissolution of a relationship, contrasting deep melancholy with club-ready tempos. The release continued to blur the line between highly conceptual internet art and genuine, emotionally devastating pop music.
