Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking a nostalgic and highly emotional return in early 2026, 'Angel' is a standout single from Hyd's sophomore studio album, 'Hold Onto Me Infinity'. The track functions as an on铆ric, heartfelt pastiche of 1980s Italo-disco, freestyle, and classic synthpop, produced alongside long-term collaborator Hudson Mohawke. Lyrically, the song navigates deep grief, the afterlife, and spiritual romance, delivering a warm, poetic, and bittersweet celebration of her late partner, SOPHIE.
