Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed as a highly tactile and visceral ASMR-influenced pop track, 'Skin 2 Skin' is a standout single from Hyd's debut EP. Co-produced by PC Music founder A. G. Cook, the track utilizes heavily processed vocal whispers, whispering sound effects, and hyperactive deconstructed club percussion. Lyrically, the song details abstract and sensual metaphors of touch, body mechanics, and physical intimacy with a highly quirky, chaotic energy.
