Album Notes & Community Reviews
Mixed by David Bowie, this blistering track ushered in the raw aggression of the 'Raw Power' era. James Williamson's searing, distorted guitar riff and Iggy Pop's confrontational, militaristic lyrical imagery cemented its status as an undeniable precursor to the late-1970s punk movement. It serves as a violent, apocalyptic statement of intent from an artist operating at the fringes of mainstream rock.
