Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originally the closing track of 'John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band' from 1970, 'God' is a stark piano ballad in which Lennon lists and renounces his former beliefs. Its final declaration, that he believes only in himself and Yoko Ono, closes the song in near silence.
