Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced with Phil Spector and Yoko Ono, 'Imagine' serves as John Lennon's ultimate, secular-humanist manifesto. Driven by Lennon's gentle piano progression and subtle string orchestration, the lyrics request the listener to conceptualize a world free of religion, borders, and material possessions. The accompanying promotional film, featuring Lennon playing a white grand piano in a pristine, light-filled room, remains a definitive image of his post-Beatles career.
