Humble.

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting sharply from the dense, jazz-infused sociopolitics of 'To Pimp a Butterfly', Kendrick Lamar utilized an abrasive Mike WiLL Made-It beat to deliver a straightforward, radio-dominating trap anthem. 'Humble' ironically relies on massive braggadocio, commanding peers to bow down over an infectious piano loop and aggressive 808s. The highly stylized, symbolism-heavy music video directed by Dave Meyers further accelerated the track's massive cultural impact.
