Call the Police / American Dream

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a double A-side, these tracks marked the official return of the dance-punk outfit following their highly publicized retirement five years prior. 'Call the Police' is a propulsive, driving rock anthem heavily indebted to the guitar heroics of prime David Bowie, dealing with political disillusionment. 'American Dream' operates as a waltzing, synthesizer-heavy lullaby that explores the melancholy of aging and fading romanticism.
