Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Glasgow band's single is carried by Sue Tompkins's spoken, stream-of-consciousness vocal over spindly post-punk guitars. Sonically it is built on downstroke guitars and gang-shouted choruses, the melodic construction carrying a cryptic cast throughout.
