Album Notes & Community Reviews

Constructed almost entirely from unauthorized samples pieced together by DJs CJ Mackintosh and Dave Dorrell, this one-off collaboration became an unprecedented global hit. Utilizing fragments from James Brown, Public Enemy, and notably Sybil's 'Roadblock'鈥攚hich resulted in high-profile legal action鈥攖he track introduced underground turntable scratching to mainstream European charts. It significantly legitimized sampling as a primary form of musical composition.
