Closing their monumentally successful second album, this seven-minute epic is a sprawling, psychedelic masterpiece of modern rock. The track famously features Paul Weller of The Jam contributing heavily layered, atmospheric guitar solos and backing vocals. Despite its highly abstract, often nonsensical lyrics, the song's massive melodic scope transformed it into one of the most beloved and unifying sing-alongs of the entire Britpop movement.
