Oasis

Oasis was an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. [1, 3] Spearheaded by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the group's Beatles-indebted sound and anthemic songwriting defined the 1990s Britpop movement. [1] Their first two albums, "Definitely Maybe" (1994) and "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" (1995), were monumental commercial successes, establishing them as a global phenomenon. [1] After years of lineup changes and internal strife, the band dissolved in 2009 following Noel Gallagher's departure. [1] In August 2024, the band announced its reformation for a 2025 tour. [4]
