Don't Look Back in Anger

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first Oasis single to feature Noel Gallagher on lead vocals instead of his brother Liam, this sweeping piano-driven ballad became a cultural touchstone in the United Kingdom. The song heavily interpolates the piano intro from John Lennon's 'Imagine', expanding it into a massive, lighter-waving stadium anthem. Years later, it organically evolved into an anthem of resilience and communal healing for the city of Manchester following the 2017 arena bombing.
