Supersonic

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written and recorded in a single day during a studio jam session, 'Supersonic' served as the blistering debut single that formally launched the band's career. Driven by an incredibly infectious, distorted guitar riff and Liam Gallagher's trademark sneering vocal delivery, the track exudes absolute, unearned confidence. Its nonsensical but highly memorable lyrics perfectly encapsulated the arrogant swagger that would come to define the Britpop era.
