Album Notes & Community Reviews

Boldly reinventing a classic garage rock standard, this iconic track famously opens with the incendiary declaration that 'Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine'. The collision of beat poetry, avant-garde intellectualism, and visceral three-chord power permanently established a high-water mark for the American punk movement.
