Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written by bassist Jeff Ament, 'Nothing As It Seems' was the lead single from 'Binaural', its slow, submerged guitar figure introducing the album's binaural recording experiments. Ament's lyric and the track's minor-key drift mark it as the album's darkest entry.
