Chase the Tear

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released in partnership with Amnesty International, this track eschews the band's trip-hop origins in favor of a propulsive, krautrock-inspired analog synthesizer sequence. Beth Gibbons' soaring, anxious vocals slice through the cold, mechanical arpeggiations, marking a brilliant stylistic evolution. The single demonstrated the group's continued commitment to challenging, avant-garde electronic textures.
