Album Notes & Community Reviews
A single from 'The Unseen', 'Basic Instinct' presents Madlib's pitched-up alter ego Quasimoto trading verses with his own unaltered voice over a jazz-loop boom bap production. The record is a cornerstone of Stones Throw's abstract hip hop catalog.
