Album Notes & Community Reviews
On the single 'Believe Me (Dust)', Shearling offers a stark and deeply melancholic exploration of slowcore and contemporary folk. The track is built upon sparse acoustic instrumentation and abstract sound collages, providing a haunting backdrop for the artist's poetic, talk-singing delivery. Delving into themes of trauma, regret, and religious contemplation, the release captures a profoundly intimate and pastoral atmosphere.
