Album Notes & Community Reviews

'What a Shame About Me' is drawn from Steely Dan's 'Two Against Nature', Donald Fagen and Walter Becker's first studio album in twenty years. Its lyric, a rueful encounter with an old flame turned successful author, rides a precise jazz-pop groove.
