Album Notes & Community Reviews

Australian electronic collective The Avalanches team up with Yeah Yeah Yeahs vocalist Karen O for the laid-back, chillwave-infused single 'Blue Shadows'. Built around a sample of Blue Gas's 1984 Italo disco track 'Shadows From Nowhere', the song features a sunny, rustic groove and yearning vocals that explore themes of heartbreak. The track marks a continuation of the group's highly collaborative and sample-heavy approach to experimental electronica.
