Album Notes & Community Reviews
Adapting Pete Seeger's musical setting of verses from the Book of Ecclesiastes, this release became a defining anthem for the mid-sixties peace movement. Jim McGuinn's chiming twelve-string Rickenbacker guitar and the group's lush vocal harmonies perfectly encapsulate the bright, emerging American folk-rock sound.
