Lovefool

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by an undeniably infectious disco beat and retro-pop stylings, 'Lovefool' contrasts incredibly desperate, self-deprecating lyrics with bright, bouncy instrumentation. Nina Persson's airy, sweet vocal performance heightens the song's signature lyrical dissonance, portraying a protagonist begging to be lied to. It found massive global success, heavily propelled by its inclusion on the 'Romeo + Juliet' film soundtrack.
