Album Notes & Community Reviews
A magnificent example of Phil Spector's Wall of Sound, characterized by its cinematic castanets, swelling string section, and booming, cavernous percussion. The track's narrative of teenage romance, delivered with stunning clarity by Dolores 'LaLa' Brooks, is elevated to near-mythic status by the dense, symphonic production.
