Album Notes & Community Reviews
From 'Bloodflowers', the album Robert Smith framed as the third part of a trilogy with 'Pornography' and 'Disintegration', 'The Last Day of Summer' carries a lyric of seasonal and personal endings. Its slow, layered guitar arrangement is among the record's most reduced constructions.
