Album Notes & Community Reviews

Opening their critical breakthrough album, 'Race for the Prize' is a bombastic, maximalist explosion of distorted drums and soaring synthesizer melodies. The lyrical narrative tells a poignant story of two rival scientists racing to find a cure for a disease, acknowledging that their ultimate sacrifice is necessary for humanity. Producer Dave Fridmann's aggressively compressed, hyper-saturated sound design established a new blueprint for modern psychedelic rock.
