Album Notes & Community Reviews
The opening track of 'Alligator', establishing the album's anxious, insomniac tone through a steady, shuffling drum beat and Matt Berninger's evocative baritone. The single's B-sides offered acoustic versions and non-album tracks that further endeared the group to the mid-2000s indie rock audience.
