Here's Where the Story Ends

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Defined by its sparkling, Smiths-indebted acoustic guitar work, the track serves as a pristine example of turn-of-the-decade British indie pop. Harriet Wheeler's distinctively light, fluttering vocal delivery provides a deceptive sweetness to the song's deeply melancholic themes of reflection and ending relationships. It became an unexpected international college radio hit, celebrated for its quiet intimacy and memorable melodic hook.
