Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by Mano and Illangelo, this brooding, cinematic track actually replaced The Weeknd's own 'Can't Feel My Face' at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Featuring a distorted, overwhelmingly heavy bass drop and explicit themes of illicit drug use and infidelity, it brought his signature dark R&B sound to the absolute forefront of mainstream pop. The song notably interpolates a vocal sample from the 2013 sci-fi film 'The Machine'.
