Album Notes & Community Reviews
Featuring a famously infectious, envelope-filtered bassline and an Isley Brothers drum sample, this track stands as Thundercat's most recognizable solo achievement. Co-produced with Flying Lotus and featuring Kamasi Washington on saxophone, the funky groove masks deeply sorrowful lyrics about heartbreak and emotional devastation. It initially appeared on 'The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam' before being included on 'Drunk'.
