Album Notes & Community Reviews
Opening with Brian Eno's swelling, atmospheric organ intro before launching into The Edge's iconic delay-pedal arpeggios, this track perfectly sets the cinematic scope of 'The Joshua Tree'. The lyrics express Bono's frustration with the divided city of Belfast, yearning for a transcendent place devoid of societal and religious labels.
