Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the lead double A-side single for 'Father of the Bride', this release marked Vampire Weekend's highly anticipated return after a six-year hiatus. 'Harmony Hall' features sweeping acoustic guitars and intricate piano flourishes, while '2021' offers a brief, minimalist reflection built around a Haruomi Hosono sample. The tracks signaled a looser, jam-band-inspired direction for the group following Rostam Batmanglij's departure.
