Album Notes & Community Reviews
Anchored by a remarkably buoyant, surf-rock inspired guitar riff and pitch-shifted vocals, 'Ocean Man' is a whimsical highlight of the duo's nautical-themed conceptual album. The track's delightfully strange, deeply catchy psychedelic pop sound captures the bizarre but undeniably melodic essence of the band. It later achieved immense cultural permanence due to its prominent inclusion in the ending credits of 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie'.
