Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Yung Gud, this hazy, atmospheric track effectively birthed the sad boys internet rap movement. The instrumental heavily samples a vintage recording of Carnatic classical singing, juxtaposed against booming 808s. Yung Lean's lethargic, bizarrely referential lyricism and the music video's low-budget, bucket-hat aesthetic proved vastly influential on the subsequent soundcloud rap generation.
