Lyrics for Dare To Love Me
If you dare to love, if you dare to love me If you dare to love, if you dare to love me I try to let down my guard, but I cover up my scars Yeah, there's no denyin' It's not that I don't care, it's just I'm- scared It's terrifying 'Cause I know it's a slippery slope But I don't wanna give up hope Damn, why's it gotta be this hard just to open up my heart? So don't tell me that you love me if you don't mean it Don't say another damn word if you don't believe it Only tell me if you care, tell me if you care, tell me if you care About me Only tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare If you dare to love me, yeah If you dare to love me I've been goin' way too hard for way too long But I'll keep on tryin' I've been wishin' on them stars, but are they too far? Yeah, are they still shinin'? I know it's a slippery slope (slope) But I don't wanna give up hope Damn, why's it gotta be this hard just to open up my heart? So don't tell me that you love me if you don't mean it (you don't mean it) Don't say another damn word if you don't believe it (don't believe it) Only tell me if you care, tell me if you care, tell me if you care About me Only tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare If you dare to love me If you dare to love me Will you love me through the good and the bad? Would you understand, stay hand in hand? Would you love me through the darkest of nights? Through our first fight, stay by my side Would you love me? Would you still love me? So don't tell me that you love me if you don't mean it (you don't mean it) And, no, don't say another damn word if you don't believe it (don't believe it, yeah) Only tell me if you care, tell me if you care, tell me if you care About me (yeah) Only tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare, tell me if you dare If you dare to love me (through the good and the bad, would you understand?) If you dare to love me (through the darkest of nights, through our first fight) Oh-oh, if you dare to love, if you dare to love me If you dare to love, if you dare to love me
