Lyrics for Take Me As I Am

Darling, take me as I am or no way at all I am poor, I don't have a nickel No place to call my own But, if you love me, that's all that matters And I love you I'm not rich, darlin', I don't have fancy clothes But, if you love me every night That's all I care for I don't care for money Neither fancy clothes All that I care for is your love If you can cook and be a good housewife You don't have to wear lipstick and powder All the make-up, darlin', to try to make me love you If you can cook, then it's all that I need Mmmmm, mmmmm-hmmmm, I know, you was meant for me Darling, we were meant for each other Mmmmm
