Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Texan black metal pioneers delivered an incredibly fast, highly complex sophomore album heavily steeped in Sumerian mythology and occult mysticism. Proscriptor McGovern's impossibly rapid, virtuosic drumming and raspy vocals completely drive the fiercely aggressive, thrash-inflected riffing. It stands as a remarkably sophisticated, deeply mythological achievement that separated them entirely from the raw, lo-fi trends of European extreme metal.
