Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shifting towards a more rhythmic and accessible direction, 'T眉rkis' finds the German ensemble tightening their sprawling Krautrock tendencies into highly melodic jazz-rock. The prominent use of flute and saxophone interplay over complex, funky basslines distinguishes the record as a deeply engaging, groove-oriented artifact. It successfully bridges the gap between late-seventies European fusion and their esoteric progressive roots.
