Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by his famously warm, Lester Young-inspired tenor tone, the leader guides a highly polished quintet through relaxed, deeply melodic bop frameworks. The session features tightly voiced unison lines and unhurried solos that reflect the cerebral, yet fiercely swinging, ethos of the East Coast cool aesthetic.
