Album Notes & Community Reviews

Documenting a massive free jazz ensemble convened during the famed Paris diaspora, this record operates as a continuous, intensely chaotic stream of conducted improvisation. The bassist and composer successfully marshals an overwhelming barrage of horns and percussion into a towering wall of sound, defining the extreme limits of large-ensemble avant-garde music.
